Return on Investment
At 8 missed calls per day, with a 30% new patient conversion rate, $2,000 average new patient lifetime value, and 22 working days per month — a dental practice is missing $105,600 in potential monthly revenue. Mayla Starter costs $499. The first new patient she books covers months of the service.

Starter Plan ROI
At $2,000 average lifetime value, one recovered new patient covers four months of the Starter plan. Most practices see their first Mayla booking in week one.
vs. Human Receptionist
A full-time dental receptionist costs $35,000–$40,000 per year in salary alone — before benefits, training, sick days, and turnover. Mayla covers after-hours and overflow at a fraction of that cost, and never takes a sick day.
vs. Answering Service
Answering services cost $3,600–$9,600/yr and deliver a stack of callbacks. Most patients have already booked elsewhere by the time you call back. Mayla closes the loop on the first call. Full comparison →
Every Mayla plan — Starter, Growth, and Scale — comes with a 30-day performance guarantee. If Mayla doesn't book at least one new patient you would have otherwise missed within your first 30 days, we'll refund you in full. No questions asked.
"A patient you would have missed" means a booking made during a period when your front desk was unavailable: after hours, on a weekend, during a procedure, or while staff were already on another call. These are the calls that would have gone to voicemail or been answered by a competitor.
We're confident enough in Mayla's performance to back it unconditionally. Most practices book their first new patient within the first week.

Everything you need to know before signing up.
The Starter plan has no setup fee. The Growth plan has a one-time $2,500 setup fee. The Scale plan (for DSOs with 6+ locations) has a one-time $7,500 setup fee. A call is any inbound call that Mayla answers and handles. Calls are counted once connected — hang-ups before Mayla answers, or very short disconnects, do not count against your monthly limit. If you're approaching your monthly limit, we'll notify you proactively and discuss options. We never cut off service mid-month without warning.
Yes. You can upgrade at any time and the new pricing and call capacity takes effect immediately — no waiting for your next billing cycle. Downgrading is available at the start of your next billing period. There are no long-term contracts on any plan. If your practice grows or you add locations, we'll recommend the right plan before your current one becomes a bottleneck.

No. Mayla charges a flat monthly fee — not per-minute like traditional answering services. The Starter plan includes up to 300 calls/month for $499 flat. There are no surprise overage bills during normal usage. If you consistently exceed your plan's call limit, we'll work with you on an upgrade — but there's no per-minute meter running in the background.
We don't offer a traditional free trial, but the 30-day performance guarantee effectively serves the same purpose — if Mayla doesn't deliver a measurable result within your first month, you get a full refund. We also offer a live demo before you sign up: you call a number, hear Mayla answer a real dental practice scenario, and judge for yourself whether the voice quality and booking capability meet your standards.
No setup fee on Starter. Live in 48 hours. If Mayla doesn't book a new patient in your first month, you pay nothing. Book a demo and hear Mayla answer a real call before you commit.
